Hosted Services is one of the fastest growing sectors of the industry, with 32% YoY growth according to IDC.  25 percent of new business software is expected to be delivered as a service by 2011, resulting in a $20B market for cloud-based software services.

In today's competitive global market, businesses need technology that cost-effectively enables flexibility and adds value to their organization.  Microsoft’s Business Productivity Online Standard Suite (BPOS) delivers hosted communication and collaboration tools that feature:
             High availability
             Comprehensive security
             Simplified IT management

Microsoft Online Services is a set of enterprise class software delivered as subscription services hosted by Microsoft and sold through partners. The Business Productivity Online Suite (BPOS) set of services provides business productivity capabilities including:
             Microsoft Exchange Online for enterprise messaging
             Microsoft SharePoint® Online for intranets and document sharing
             Microsoft Office Communications Online for real-time communication and presence (instant messaging and related capabilities)
             Microsoft Office Live Meeting for interactive Web conferencing

Parking:
Parkwood Nine has outside parking (in front of the building). Parking is free.

Speaker Bio:
For the last 18 months, Dean Murray has been dedicated to driving CDW’s Software as a Service (SaaS) partnership strategy. He currently manages the Microsoft Online Services team and talks to customers on a daily basis about their needs and deployment strategies for hosted services. Dean has participated in Microsoft airlifts, training, launch events, beta software testing, and Microsoft Technology Alliance Partnerships (TAP). With CDW as Microsoft’s leading partner in BPOS wins, Dean as had the opportunity to work with customer deployments ranging from 25 to 20,000 seats across the United States. He is passionate about the current and future capabilities of Microsoft Online Services. Dean started with CDW in the Information Worker practice as a Microsoft SharePoint consultant.

Before joining CDW, Dean worked in the technology arena as an independent consultant and for a variety of technology companies. This included a 15-year stint at Microsoft, where Dean started as a trainer at Microsoft University and worked his way up to Senior Director in Microsoft Learning.
